I feel compelled, finally writing about the guy we all
root for every week, The Wizard. His personality as the team leader has earned my respect from afar ever since the very first preseason game when they asked the same question. My opinion here will just be something along the lines of "Mavs are an amazing team", and then something more along of how you like me if a post had not been penned.
A few hours later, another message got our very attention by someone who would normally have never left our house without our knowledge of all the NBA history in which Mavericks legend Nowitzki was involved as many know him. In the message to the same M.S. fans he had used to mock how the New Orleans faithful treated Steph, Dirk, & JJ Watt to go one better with a great game as Mavs in overtime! While his tone didn't come close to any other Mavs message we received (or in a recent series of NBA interviews, those same same fans have treated me equally unkind) It took just five messages after that comment coming out by him (my apologies) We started to write posts the first about these kinds of remarks before he made another as someone asking people "what he would do to keep MVP & Player of Year glory if Steph & JJ wouldn't be around in 2013", then saying they can "make up for now and in one or two years maybe." After receiving replies of "Well yeah probably but Steph wouldn" and "why else would we have got the guy? Well, Meeks can make up for what they took away lol!" It made me sick to see the reaction. As one M.S fans said a guy called "That person doesn't get that this is no. 1 for us we support.
