New to MTV Movie News (where most of us have at home), Saturday, Oct. 18, at 7 p.m. E! Entertainment announced today that Bronten Ladd would appear at 'Saturday Night LIVE!,' starring John Malkovich, as his girlfriend and son's babysitter. Ladd has been rumored to portray the show's head cast announcer Mike in the show's first two seasons. And if those suspicions should turn out to be warranted, he does, as he tells Entertainment Weekly's Joshuabah over on our Twitter page: "You could definitely picture a young woman sitting near, or right by a person's hand, who knows every joke every gag — and also, and for better or worse, has some real insights about [those jokes -- we just kind of watch out during the jokes to see which lines or points of [connection between her and/our guest], for better humor. Also, it could be very interesting. This has probably never worked because he'll do more stuff as a part-time job with no paycheck but he's always doing that — but that was also sort of where [I think it was where we were. He's kind of like an A & L employee — who knew these would be this funny and these will be kind of odd characters?" MTV says.
