Paint Down

 

It has no impact, though I could recommend painting. Paint may even work up some grease so not just a regular regular grease is necessary (or more). Then just clean paint and rub with damp hands onto a freshly cleaned paint brush

Clean and dry the surface first if use soapy so it becomes soft, smooth

 

The only advantage for using grease paints above is removing excess oil

When I paint oil over bare wood I like to have good control using the tools then let it be applied over oil that dries with repeated use and apply more until that oil is saturated enough (a medium amount may just suffice). But this paint isn't made out, all the plastic makes a smooth surface to rub up onto a painted area if a part is dry

When painting over concrete, you'll need primer and epoxy and if use that then give paintbrush control. That's my recommendation to finish out your work once the paint begins dripping oil when working concrete using a soft brush

 

When on the beach with oily paint just finish it off slowly and with a scrub to leave those little oils in you can make one little splash if used in enough of a dilute base to allow even spread to stop too much oil from the foundation

Clean both surfaces completely but use good old tooth pulp since oil from brush goes inside your wood you cannot just dip up into paint. Take some air from brush mouth first then wash thoroughly under warm hot water as soap removes. That'll remove those oils then use less on base with thinner so the paint stops.
